  Still have scars that this doctor caused 10 years ago. Prescribed me meds that didn't even pertain to my condition and were harmful when combined with medication I had already been taking. Then argued with me after I explained how unsatisfied I was. This guy is a criminal.

  The only reason why I made an appointment with this Dr was because he gave me an appointment the day after I called. My other appointment with another Dr was over a month wait. As soon as I walked in I had a feeling that I made a mistake. Sound travels really good in this office and I could here what was being said from multiple rooms. Didn't help that the MA did not close the doors. After filling out multiple pages of repetitive and redundant questions I waited for 35 minutes before getting brought back to a room. That was a 12.00 appt. After being seated in the room the MA asked me more questions which were mostlyu answered in the new patient forms I had just finished filling out and were now in her possesion. After the questions and a blood pressure check she left and said the DR would be in shortly. Well I heard the DR walking down the hallway and saw him enter the door but then turned around and went back down the hall towards the reception area. I waited for about 10 minutes before I stood up and looked down thwe hall to see where he went. I could here him talking but wasn't sure if he was with another patient or was eating lunch. After looking I couldn't see him so I sat back down to wait. 10 minutes later I was getting a bit mad so I decided to put my shirt back on and see where he was, turns out he was sitting down in the reception waiting area with the MA and his wife and another guy whom I thought was another patient, well I asked him if it was his lunch time and he said oh I forgot about you you were so quiet. I looked at the MA and said to her you knew I was back there she turned away and said nothing. What was I suppose to be doing while waiting for him ??? I was gonna walk out right then and there if it wasn't for the fact that my only other option was a month away. He didn't even apologize. After we went back to the room he never even examined me just just asked me what was the problem. So in my oppinion this DR was very unprofessional as well as the MA. Will not be going back to my follow up visit.

  I went to see Kothari because he was a "dermatologist" and I thought I had lice. I had 2 children with me under the age of 5. I waited for over an hour for my appointment and was brought into 2 seperate rooms during this time period...just to be told it wasn't my turn and to go back to the waiting room. By the time I actually got to see the "doctor" he didn't even look at my scalp. I told him I had used "Nix Lice Treatment" but was still itching. He then took my blood pressure proceeded to prescribe me hydrochlorothiazide and tea tree shampoo ....and told me to get blood work done and come see him in 3 weeks. I'm a totally healthy 34 year old and I have NEVER had high blood pressure. I never filled my prescription because hydrochlorothiazide is for people with water retension, liver damage and heart failure??? (prescribed with other medications I read) I went home furious and still itching. 2 weeks later, crying to my mother....we found a louse...and looking it up online. Some lice have grown immune to over the counter medications including what I had used, Nix. God forbid I actually went to him for something more serious...like a cancerous mole! My final remarks.... DON'T EVER GO TO KOTHARI! All he cares about is prescribing his pain management clients their pills. It's obviously his bread and butter. In my opinion..his whole practice should be avoided.
